  3. Three perspectives explored each week
    1. What archetype (recurrent symbol or motif) of the Jesus Story (Prophet, Priest, King, Disciple, People, etc.) is portrayed in the Old Testament scripture?
    2. How does Jesus’s story fulfill the archetype in the New Testament?
    3. How is the archetype relevant to us today?
  4. Two personal questions (following the learning circle):
    1. What is God saying? (repent)
    2. What am I going to do about it? (believe)
  5. Focus will be on Samuel, Saul, and David
    1. How will you participate?

As our format for this current Sunday school is a bit unconventional (what else would you expect from the two of us :) we encourage you to read and contemplate several bible verses before each upcoming class. This will allow you to fully participate in the discussions that will ensue. You can find links to each weeks readings above. How ever much time and energy you wish to devote the readings is up to you. As has been often quoted, "The bible is shallow enough for babies to wade in and deep enough for scholars to drown."
